• Hosts who list, manage, or operate properties
• Authorized representatives acting on behalf of property owners

Basera acts as a marketplace facilitator and payment coordination platform and does not own or operate listed properties.

A. Guest Information

• Account login details
• Booking enquiries, stay details, preferences
• Communications with Hosts or Basera support

B. Host Information

We may collect:

• Name, phone number, email address
• Role (property owner or authorized representative)
• Property details (leading to ownership or control)
• Property images, descriptions, pricing, house rules
• Tax-related declarations (e.g. GST applicability)

C. Property Ownership & Authorization Proof

For trust and verification purposes, Hosts may be required to upload:

• Utility bills (e.g. electricity or water bill)
• Property tax receipts
• Lease or authorization documents (if not the owner)

These documents are used only for verification and compliance purposes.

2.2 Information Collected via Payment Partners

Basera uses third-party payment gateways and marketplace settlement partners. Sensitive financial and identity information such as:

• Bank account details
• PAN
• GSTIN
• KYC documents

are collected and processed directly by the payment gateway as part of sub-merchant onboarding.

Basera only stores:

• Payment partner reference IDs
• Verification status (e.g. pending / verified / failed)

2.3 Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect:

• Device and browser information
• IP address and approximate location
• Log data, usage patterns, interactions
• Pages viewed, clicks, search activity

This data helps us improve platform performance and security.

5. Content License (Hosts)

By uploading property images, videos, descriptions, or other content, Hosts grant Basera a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to:

• Host, store, reproduce, modify, and display such content
• Use content for:
  • Platform display
  • Marketing and promotional activities
  • Social media and advertisements
  • AI-based discovery and ranking systems

This license:

• Does not transfer ownership
• Continues while content exists on the platform
• May survive listing removal for archival, legal, or promotional purposes

Hosts confirm they have the legal right to upload and license such content.

6. Sharing of Information

Basera may share information:

• Between Guests and Hosts to facilitate bookings
• With payment gateways, banks, and service providers
• With verification, analytics, and infrastructure partners
• With legal or regulatory authorities when required by law

Basera does not sell personal data to third parties.

7. Data Storage & Security

• Data is stored using secure cloud infrastructure
• Access is restricted using role-based controls and security policies
• Sensitive documents are stored in private, access-controlled environments

However:

• No system is completely secure
• Users share information at their own risk

Basera is not liable for breaches beyond its reasonable control.

8. Data Retention

We retain information:

• For as long as required to provide services
• To comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations
• For dispute resolution and enforcement

When no longer required, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:
